We are B&W Recruitment (and Truck Training), a well-established HGV driving agency based in the south-west. Driving is what we know, driving is what we do! Whether that is jumping in a truck ourselves, sourcing & supplying a driver, or taking a fresh candidate through their HGV licence and supporting them in the industry. Recently, recently we have branched out in supplying Industrial temps to our current client base, as well as new clients.






Our team have varied backgrounds all within and around the recruitment and transport sectors; including transport managers, HGV drivers, compliance managers and permanent recruitment specialists. We are proud to say a high portion of our team hold HGV licences, which we believe is hugely important when dealing with our drivers and clients alike.






We opened our doors in 2016 to provide a professional yet personal service to our clients and to the drivers we recruit. As the industry has its peak periods throughout the year, our clients need a partner that will strive to supply a flexible solution for them, whether that is supplying drivers on a temporary or ad-hoc basis, to cover holiday, sickness, extra business, or a long term vacancy.

Colin Brown

Sales Director

Colin was the brains behind the startup of B&W, putting a fresh idea on client/candidate relations, wanting to do things a little differently, following many years in the recruitment/sales game! 

Shane Whittaker

Operations Director

Shane has a wealth of knowledge in in logistics & driving, following 15 years in the transport industry, from driving to transport management. He stepped across to recruitment in 2016, creating a formidable team with Colin, putting our twist on the temporary driving world! 

Tom Hunt

Recruitment Consultant

Tom has been with us since 2022, coming from a driving back ground. Tom has grown into a valuable part of our team, building great relationships with candidates and clients alike. Very knowledgeable Sport and F1 fan, which clients have picked up on!

Kimberly Slater-Brooks

Finance Assistant

Kim has been part of our team from the very beginning. Having spent years building relationships with our clients and candidates, Kim manages the processing of time sheets.

Finance Assistant

Connie has been working alongside Kim for the past few years, with processing time sheets and assisting with invoicing. Always a smiley face in the office!

Compliance & Training coordinator

Jo has been keeping our recruitment team compliant with her legislation expertise from the very start, Jo also heads up our training department, looking after candidates from start to finish always with a smile!

Neil Bullingham

HGV Trainer – B&W Truck Training

Neil is our in-house HGV training extraordinaire. This allows us to train and qualify our own drivers, or up skill existing HGV drivers. To prepare them for the requirement of our clients.
